Inspired by recent hurricanes in Florida ( this is our home by the way ) we searched for a home inventory software program to assist us in cataloging our assets and personal belongings recognizing future events were inevitable. To our surprise, we located nothing that we felt worthy of our consideration. We met with our staff and discussed creating our own version and make it available for purchase on the Internet. A star was born. Computerize Your Assets was released June 26, 2005 and is emerging as the leader in home inventory software solutions.

The time to do a home inventory is now, before you experience an event. Once the damage is done it is too late. We had a close call during Hurricane Charley and it taught us a valuable lesson. Thankfully, as it turned out, it wasn't an expensive lesson. It could have been though. We were just more fortunate than others.
